It’s that time of year again to start your planning for the 2013 Belanger Family Reunion. Below is the letter and registration form from Melanie Villeneuve.

Children of all ages,Welcome to the 43rd annual Bélanger Family Reunion! We are thrilled to be hosting you on the
Civic Holiday weekend of August 2nd– 5th 2013 at the beautiful Poplar Grove Campground located
at 6154 Bank Street (Hwy 31) in Greely, just south of Ottawa.
Park owners, Phil, Eleanor, Diane & Chris McEvoy are pleased to have us back for another year.
Poplar Grove is situated 30 minutes away from our National Capital. The park is well maintained
with large shady lots, washrooms with hot showers, a large indoor swimming pool, baseball field,
children playground, etc. For your convenience, we have set aside a number of lots on: Shady
Lane, Poplar Lane, Hide-a-way & Cozy Corner. You can visit Poplar Grove’s website at
www.ottawaspoplargrovecamp.com.This year’s reunion is planned for children of all ages! Step right up and join us for the Bélanger
Family Circus. This weekend of fun at the Circus is sure to bring out the inner child in all of us!
From circus animals to circus acts, you will experience a fun-filled weekend full of great memories.
Morning coffee and muffins will be available on Saturday and join us Sunday morning for coffee
and a pancake breakfast under The Big Top (Circus tent). We will also be holding the traditional
Saturday night dessert buffet; don’t forget your special treats to share! We’d also like you to join
us for a friendly game of baseball on Sunday afternoon… so be sure to bring your baseball gear!You won’t want to miss the Midway, the quarter and loonie toss or the giant Circus Show on
Saturday evening under The Big Top. Get your ticket to the Circus by filling out the attached
reservation form. Make sure to fill in & submit your reservation by May 1st
2013 in order to guarantee a spot at our Circus weekend.For those staying overnight, nightly camping costs are provided, below. For those who aren’t too
keen on roughing it, you will find information on the hotels located at proximity. Family dues of
$20/family (adult with children up to and including 17yrs of age) and $10/ young adults (18yrs and
older), will be collected upon arrival in exchange for your Circus show ticket.Visit the Bélanger website at www.belangerfamilyreunion.ca for information on the upcoming
family reunion as well as the wonderful photo albums from previous years. If you or any family
member’s mailing and/or email address has changed, please contact us to update the contact
information on the Bélanger mailing list.We also challenge every campsite to create, decorate and bring their own circus elephant to
display on their site. The winner will be announced during the family meeting on Sunday evening.
The grand prize you ask? Your family dues will be paid for the 2014 Bélanger Family Reunion!
